Beats Solo2 Wireless headphones now come in silver, space gray, and gold

The new colors for the Beats Solo2 Wireless match the current color options on the iPhone and iPad lines, and are available exclusively from the Apple Online Store. The gold, space gray, and silver versions were announced by Beats on Twitter:

If none of these colors are to your taste, you can always grab the Solo2 Wireless in red, blue, white, or black.

The Beats Solo2 Wireless are a set of on-ear headphones, announced back in November 2014. A wireless version of the popular Solo2 headphones, they were the first Beats products announced following the completion of Apple's acquisition of the company.

  • Does anybody know if Apple has improved the sound of Beats headphones yet?
  • The Beats Studio wired headphones always did sound like premium headphones, as compared side-by-side with my top of the line Sennheisers at home. I just got home from the Apple Store and tried the new wireless Solo 2, which had a rich warm sound but were a little bass heavy and the ear muffs are really small and set on top of your ears which I don't like. All that said, a lot of people will like them a lot but I only recommend the Beats Studio wireless or wired.
  • Yeah, in the equalizer settings there is a new pretentious hipster preset. :)
  • LOL! Yeah, I've never understood how people think wearing over-the-ear cans in public makes any sense!
  • It's already dangerous to wear earphones, who in their right mind will wear this in public. Posted via the iMore App for Android
  • VERY clever.
  • Never used them myself, but the non-wireless Solo 2s were reviewed as being "much-improved" when released.
  • Insert the angry hipster I hate beats comments lol.
  • Space Gray. Nice.
  • Tried them and didn't think they sounded that impressive. I mean no better than headphones half the price. Sent from the iMore App
  • I still have a pair of Solo 2 Wireless sitting in the box in my closet. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed them in terms of sound and comfort but they had a fatal flaw: they aren't able to activate voice commands via the BT connection. I called tech support and registered this problem so hopefully Beats/Apple is addressing this for future releases if they haven't already.
  • I like the gold color, but I think I'll stick with my Beats Studio Wireless headphones.

  • Okay these look garish *glances at Turtlebeach Earforce Seven's with massive Deadpool symbols on them.* yep. Garish "I'm da Blur boys!" - Me with 1200 ping. Fiber in Nashville? Save me based Google.
  • I always judge people that wear beats Sent from the iMore App
  • Well Judge Dredd, You really should work on that. My titanium Studio wireless brings what judgement ? :)

  • Regurgitators and fake audiophiles have been saying Beats have been "trash" for years, and haven't even acknowledged the clear improvement since they were separated from Monster. Grab a pair and listen for yourself. They're not bad at all. Sent from the iMore App
  • Not great at all, either.
  • That's the thing. At that price point, you can find headsets that sound better and look just as nice. I (don't) get paying for a brand and style, but at least get yours monies worth. The sound has improved, but it's still incomparable to headphones in that range. "I'm da Blur boys!" - Me with 1200 ping. Fiber in Nashville? Save me based Google.
  • Niiiiiice. Those of you "have they improved them" posters: have you ever actually owned a pair (ahem) wait for it,.... Of Beats? Sent from the iMore App
  • I would like them
