Facebook has introduced Mentions, a new app that makes it easier for public figures on Facebook to connect with their followers and fans. Facebook Mentions lets these figures see what's trending related to them, interact with their fans, and more.
As a public figure, Mentions tries to let you interact with your fans more easily than before. You can see what people are saying about you, and join in the conversation. You can post updates, photos, videos, and host a live Q&A. You can join popular conversations, and see posts from people you follow. You can also see notifications about yoru posts, including mentions from other public figures.
Facebook Mentions currently requires a verified Page from the United States. If you have such a page head on over to the App Store and give Mentions a try.
