Facebook Messenger updated with new naming, gesture, and search features

The dedicated Facebook Messenger app for iPhone has been updated to version 2.3. New and improved features include the ability to name a group from the top of a conversation, the ability to get to group conversation with left swipe from the sidebar, and the ability to search for group conversations by name or friend.

Charmingly, Facebook also seems to have forgotten to swap out their rather handsome looking, blueprint inspired beta icon. Enjoy it while it lasts.
