HTC RE camera app for iPhone now lets you stream live to YouTube

Streaming live to YouTube does has some limits. You'll only be able to stream 30 minutes of video at a time, and only at 480p resolution. In addition to live streaming, the RE camera app has also added support for automatic cloud back-ups of your video so you no longer have to worry about losing footage if something happens to your device.

The RE camera app for iPhone first launched in November 2014, and acts as both a viewfinder and content browser for the HTC RE camera. For more on the RE camera itself, be sure to check out the Android Central review.

You can download the latest update to the app on the App Store now.

  • Awesome! I just came from Android where this feature was already available, and it is a total game changer for creating live reports, updates or news. I love my RE Camera, it is completely underrated. Having that kind of wide-angle camera in your hand allows you to quickly, easily and stealthily capture photos or video without the distraction of staring at your phone screen and missing the moment in real life. This way you can capture memories and capture the moment in your brain at the same time. This live-streaming feature is just icing on the cake!
