Apple is bringing their iTunes Festival to the South-by-South-West (SXSW) festival this year. Running five nights, from March 11 to March 15, 2014, the current lineup includes Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Pitbull, Keith Urban, and ZEDD, with more to come. Eddy Cue, SVP of services (including iTunes) at Apple:
The iTunes Festival in London has become an incredible way for Apple to share its love of music with our customers. We're excited about the incredible lineup of artists performing and SXSW is the perfect place to debut the first iTunes Festival in the US.
Back in September, in addition to the material available for sale on iTunes, the London festival received a channel on the Apple TV. Hopefully we'll see something like that for the SXSW show as well. For more information, including updated lineups, check out Apple's iTunes Festival page.
