PUBG Corporation is reportedly planning to join hands with an Indian gaming firm to help get PUBG Mobile unbanned in the country. PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite were banned by the Indian government last week, along with 116 other apps with ties to China.
PUBG Corporation has announced that it will no longer authorize PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite to Tencent Games in India. The move comes in response to the ban on the franchise announced by the Indian government last week.
The Indian government has banned 118 apps, including PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite. The government cited national security as the motive for the ban, noting that the apps sent user data to elements hostile to India.
PUBG Mobile has a new update, bringing an Infection mode for players to enjoy. This mode has players join either the Infected or Defenders, as the Defenders desperately try to outlast the infected horde.
