Viber has rolled out quite the update for iOS. Version 4.2 introduces a massive redesign of the experience, alongside some new features to boot. The last time we looked at the popular messaging service on iOS was late last year.
As well as the design refresh covered above, the Viber team have also included the following:
- Send multiple photos and videos at the same time
- Block list – now you can block any number or contact
- Send longer video messages
- Bug fixes
It's always good to see bug fixing here and there, but the longer video messages and support for sending multiple media files at once are welcomed additions. Not to mention the added ability to block folk you don't wish contacting you, which is a basic security measure we're sure many users will enjoy utilizing.
