		<description>&lt;p&gt;I&#039;ve written lots of huge programs in C++ and C, and learning objective-c over the last few months has been no problem.  Other than syntax there are only a couple of important differences, and, frankly, I think objective-C is probably the better language.  &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The only downside is that you can&#039;t really leverage the skill to do much other than program for apple products, and you can&#039;t leverage the billions of lines of c++/c libraries already written by other people. (at least not very easily).&lt;/p&gt;
