I won't be upgrading my current iPhone to the iPhone 3G unless some impossible-to-refuse offer comes along. I just don't see enough features to make it worth signing up for a new contract just for 3G, when 80% of my time is spent in a Wi-Fi hotspot anyway. The time I'm not in a hot spot I find the iPhone speed with the EDGE network more than adequate for the sites I visit. No, I'll keep my jailbroken iPhone, and maybe I'll upgrade to 2.0 firmware once they jailbreak that one as well.

That's encouraging because what I've sensed a general disappointment from the tech crowd about the lack of functions in the iPhone. This waiting is killing me.

You know, 43% of statistics are made up on the spot. Now, I went to public skools, but of those polled, I'm curious how it works out that 67% did on price and 63% did it on 3G. Did they have superdelegates? LOL

Well, after seeing AT&T's explained rates, I'm not sure. With a 900min all data and unlimited text plan, it's gonna cost $110.00 plus all their taxes and fees on top of that. Tack on an almost $40.00 activation fee... and of course $300.00 for the high-end device itself... uh... still on the fence on this one. Great device, but pricey plan to get it.
