		<description>&lt;p&gt;This is the big gripe about the phone I absolutely, positively do NOT understand.  I think most materials engineers would agree with the following:  a plastic is the right material for this job.  Period.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Modern plastics like ABS and PC and whatnot are frickin&#039; fabulous materials.  Maybe not as pretty, but pound for pound, WAY tougher than that old thin aluminum back.&lt;/p&gt;
