All I have to say is WOW. Turn by turn gps directions with street view GENIUS!! speaking of google street view I was at my inlaws house the other day and we were standing out in front of their house and one of their cars drove into their culdasac and got a good shot of all of us standing and looking at the car with our heads cocked to one side. So I will have to check back on googles site to see if they have it up.

I think the contacts app is slow because it is accessing the last place the phone app contacts was at. I experimented with this by going to a letter in the phone app contacts and leaving it there and then opening the regular contacts app from the home screen. It opens where you left it but when you are allowed to scroll (after about 5 seconds) you will actually scroll from where you left the phone app contacts list. I know it's not rocket science but obviously the phone app contacts list is the base list. The phone app contact list is much snappier. So if you are upset cause the contacts app is stupid slow just access your contacts from the phone app until they come up with a fix for this. The only difference between the two I see is that your phone number is at the top. Anyways hope this helps until Apple addresses this.
