I would email Jabra and see if you can buy replacement ear hooks. Not sure if they sell them individually or not.

The fact that its a 2.0+ EDR has nothing to do with voice quality. Audio is transferred at 16Kbps and v1.2 data transfer rate was about 700Kbps (actual). Call clarity depends on noise cancellation properties of the headset and not on the BT spec.
