[This is an official Smartphone Experts Round Robin post! Every day you reply here, you're automatically entered for a chance to win an iPhone 3G, Case-Mate Naked Case, and Motorola H9 Bluetooth Headset! Full contest rules here!]

Our Public Frenemy Number One continues his assault on the iPhone blog! Not only did Kevin post his video preview of the iPhone 3G, spend time on our forums learning what abuse really is, and even joined in for our iPhone Live! Podcast, he's gone and done a near epic 7500 word iPhone 3G full, final review.

Fanboy much?

But what did he think of it? Did the man with two-tic-tactile thumbs-of-fury learn how to type on glass? Did he master the Super Monkey Ball? Did he get lost browsing "just the internet"? And did he finally, fully restore his childlike sense of wonder, something years of BlackBerrius Pusheruptus all but productivity'd out of him?

Check out his review to find out (hint: he calls it the Ah Frak Phone!), post a Crackberry.com comment for a chance to win the BlackBerry Bold, and post your thoughts on Kevin's thoughts right here for a chance to win an iPhone 3G.

What? You want MORE chances to win? Head on over to the Crackberry.com forums to help me out with the Bold (the touchscreen isn't working!) and then hit TiPb's iPhone forums to give TreoCentral's Jennifer a hand -- she's got the iPhone 3G this week!

  1. frog says:

Kevin has forgotten how to have fun.

  2. iphonemilk says:

honestly I'm not even going to read what he said. A blackberry fanboy doesn't even deserve my time.

  3. Sayam says:

Yeah, I read it all! From what I think, he is a blackberry freak like am an iPhone geek and won't ever leave his phone for any other as though he likes the iPhone but doesn't want to use it as primary device... Also, I don't think having buttons aside home button would preserve the look of the phone ;) Anyways, still am an iPhone lover after reading the review and will remain to be one :D -Sayam

  4. Jhauser says:

I thought it was a good review through the eyes of a BlackBerry user. It seems as if he was the old man standing in his yard telling all the young kids to "SLOW DOWN!" while shaking his fist at them.

  5. Jeff says:

"...it simply still lacks the crack that got me hooked on BlackBerry to begin with" - i think there's a 12 step process for that.

  6. firesign says:

at least the prize is a bold, not a storm.

  7. Unkle Grouch says:

I think Kevin did a great review, from a Blackberry users perspective. I'm still thinking of buying/winning an iPhone after his review though.

  8. Steve says:

    Crackhead Kevin! ;lol:

  9. Glenn says:

I am excited to head over and read his review, and to be honest even if he says he didn't like I have a good feeling deep down he really enjoys it but because he is the writer for crackleberry he won't admit it. But whatever I know you know we all know we have the best! =)

  10. J Doss says:

To be quite honest this post is in hopes to get this replaced. Happened yesterday. http://twitpic.com/tlvp

  11. Dimietriev says:

ahh, come on, he wasn't that mean, hah.

  12. PMJ (Curve User) says:

    Meh.

  13. Charlotte says:

"In other words, make it more like a BlackBerry! :-) " - how about make the blackberry more like an iphone lol

  14. Derek says:

I have a great respect for kevin and I have no doubt his bb works better for him any phone you've been working with for years better do it for you but my iPhone has opened my horizons of mobile computing in just three short months

  15. James says:

He did a good a job with the review, but It didnt really sway me too much on how i feel about the iphone. The blackberry is a great for power usera, thats the bottom line. The iphone is still for me though.

  16. Robert says:

My biggest gripe with the iPhone is that Apple isn't orienting itself for the family experience. You can't easily share/synchronize small things between phones - you can only email photos (but only 1 photo per email). I can't Bluetooth beam my wife a contact or a cool app( or the App store ID of an App so the downloading/authentication would still go through Apple) The flat organization is also annoying. I can't catagorize contacts or calendar events for easy filtering. When is the next doctor appointment? Family gathering? What is my wife's dentist's name?

  17. Jake says:

    IPHONE FOR THE WIN!

  18. BLUELINE says:

Kevin said it himself, he used hid curve for email/work and his iPhone for fun. I use my iPhone for fun and work which in My book makes it better then the blackberries. The iphone is the all in one device.

  19. shon says:

Yeah, I left a nice little post on his forum too, but Kev always does a great job with his reviews. Too bad the BB users have hangups on such small issues. No removable battery? a back button? If I picked on issues like that on a Bold, they would string me up! :0)

  20. Tk says:

    iphone is pretty awesome!

  21. Patrick says:

He makes some good points, but I still want one ;-)

  22. .m.e. says:

heheh the touchscreen isnt working .. soo funny ..

  23. Amani says:

    ah, good ol' crackberry!

  24. rya lab says:

Wooo! Let's go! I wanna win me some prize-age!

  25. Jordan Hanna says:

    I LIKE IT

  26. Anonymous says:
