I use GroupWise 8.0.1 HP1 today and have my Motorola DROID (Google Android 2.0.1 OS) syncing to it via ActiveSync built into the Android OS connecting to the Novell Data Synchronizer Mobility Pack (beta) gateway. It works great. All my Contacts (Multiple Address Books), Emails, and Calendar items all sync bi-directionally. GroupWise is here to stay for years to come. The GroupWise Windows client is outstanding.

I work for Novell and can tell you as a matter of fact that GroupWise is not end of life. In fact there are many people internally using iPhones and synchronizing them with GroupWise.

GroupWise is not end of life and still is a great email solution. The current version is 8 which is excellent. Older version move out of support.

Groupwise is end of life so I can't imagine ant further development will take place for native syncing. To be honest, couldn't come soon enough. Groupwise was a great email solution, for years heads above anything else on the market but Groupwise 8 put an end to that. What a horrible product.

Novell is adding ActiveSync to GW8. When and how it will get implemented is still to he determined. I do not know anyone who is using the beta

Ok-- when? It's 8/3/09 and I've heard nothing else about Groupwise syncing with the i-phone? What updates are out there?
