Airport Extreme and Time Capsule Update 7.4.1 Available Now

Owner of a previous generation Airport Extreme or Time Capsule WiFi router and jealous of the newer versions Apple dropped this week? Well, while you can’t shove the drool-inducing, iPhone-friendly dual-radios into the older tech, you can now upgrade them to firmware 7.4.1 which includes the new MobileMe / Back to My Mac sharing feature for AirDisks.
Fire up Software Update and go get it!

Very good product
…and thanks for the post
NO – DO NOT UPGRADE…
Read the support forums on Apples site and see how many people have problems with this upgrade – loss of connection, no or very slow internet connection, jumps off network etc. (myself included). If you upgraded allready and experience problems, the solution is to downgrade, do a hard reset and start over.
By the way Apple…where do customers reports issues with your upgrades.. How do we get response on these issues and when you plan to resolve them.. Get in gear please..
Agreed, do NOT upgrade with the older Time Capsule.
Loss of connection every 3-6 hours. Can’t figure out why or what spurs this to occur. I downgraded, no problems and still “N” speeds on 4 home computers.
