BeeJive 3.0 with Push Notification Just in Time for WWDC?
Yeah, BeeJive is totally teasing us now. Instant messaging (IM) is one of the most anticipated services when it comes to iPhone 3.0′s Push Notification service, and BeeJive aims to deliver and soon.
Best of all — (see screenshot, above) — they aim to deliver it free to all current customers. Maybe as soon as WWDC next week?

More signs that we may see 3.0 next week
Well, some of us have been staring at 3.0 for a bit. ‘course, the push cloud isn’t GA, so I guess it wouldn’t do much for Beejive to push the update now. sigh But it really sucks knowing it’s there and not being able to use it.

I have to agree with @richxps about 3.0 being released early. I think it will definitely come before the new iPhone. There are some many current iPhone users why would apple make ALL of them wait for the 3.0 update when not everyone will be able to upgrade to the new iPhone.
I can’t wait!!! I love my 3g but it’s getting boring I need some new features ASAP!!! Next week is fine with me.

Cosign. Lack of backgrounding is killing me.
Maybe they’ll release OS 3.0 early to annoy the Pre hype/launch. However, I “personally” think it’s still a month away.
I think next week. They would have another beta out by now.
Perhaps release 3.0 software next week and 3.0 hardware next month?

3.0 is coming MONDAY!!!
Hopefully 3.0 will be announced available Monday at WWDC the same day. That would make a heaping load of people happy, including me.

No More 3.0
I had another app update today that said it was only to make it compatible with 3.0, so I’m thinking it’s gotta be coming soon.

I am looking forward to this, BeeJive doesn’t work to well with Backgrounder.
LOL the devs of beejive don’t know anything more about when 3.0 will be released than the rest of us so this means nothing.
I’m hoping for a release on Monday or Tuesday but knowing apple I’m expecting to have to wait at least another month.
Thank god’s its a free update cuz there’s no way I’m gonna pay another 15,99 for it… I mean, it’s a great app n all but for that price I expected it to be less buggy. All those countless times it didnt send my messages without letting me know that something went wrong. I hope that’ll be fixed aswell…

It’s out. Testing now. You need to launch the app first to enable push. The when you go to setting there a new Push section and Beejive is listed. You can then switch on and off badges, sounds, and alerts. Looks like you can completely should off push for all apps that use it too.
