iPhone 3G S unboxing

UPDATE: Looks like and the original post is MIA, so we’re keeping the ship steady, banking left, and redirecting unboxing lovers to iTalkiPhone for the rest of the gallery. (Thanks Taylor!)

ORIGINAL: Looks like someone’s scored the first pictures of an iPhone 3G S, unboxed and in the wild. Pretty much what everyone expected — looks just like the iPhone 3G but has some nifty new software like the Compass App (complete with re-calibration instructions), voice control, etc. but still drool-worthy none the less.

A few more pics after the break, but check out their full gallery for all gadget pr0n goodness!

  7. icebike says:

    Wow, I had no idea ATT offered service in China.

    Cripe, they even get more bars than I do.

    Maybe fake pictures continue?

  8. iDavey says:

    @icebike LMAO, ha!

    But yeah…I was wondering how and why is AT&T on a China handset. -shrugs-

    But why is the same looking phone “drool worthy”

    If this were any other phone, having the same look would be criticized until the cows came home.

    But what IS drool worthy is getting these benchmarks! I can’t wait until side by side comparisons.

    And since my rumored expectations were dashed…the performance expectations better meet AND exceed! -_-

  9. iDavey says:

    @icebike

    I already figured why it’s AT&T… On BGR they have it being unboxed by a site iTalkiPhone So it’s still in the US. Just being posted about on Engadget China
