New, internal-only section of iTunes lets Apple showcase Apple

Eddy Cue introduces internal iTunes section to showcase media work of Apple employees

Eddy Cue, Apple's SVP of Internet Software and Services, has announced to Apple personel the launch of an internal, employees-only section of iTunes that showcases books, movies, and other media that has been worked on by Apple employees. Cue announced the new section via email, according to 9to5Mac: addition to their work here at Apple, many employees have helped create some amazing books, songs, movies and TV shows on iTunes. In celebration of their achievements, as well as the creative pursuits of everybody at Apple, we’re launching a new internal website today.

It’s my pleasure to introduce you to our very own Employees on iTunes.

Employees on iTunes only extends to media projects, as Apple does not allow workers to develop their own apps for the App Store, and there's no sign that'll change anytime soon.

Still, this is a great way for Apple to show support for their own, build some morale and raise spirits, and simply have some fun. Kudos and congrats to everyone involved! And if you've caught a glimpse of it, let us know how you like it!
