After a release earlier this year for the iPhone and iPad, Getty Images now has a version of its Getty Images Stream app available for OS X Yosemite owners to download for free.
Like the iOS app, the OS X Yosemite version of Getty Images Stream allows users to browse and view through the company's massive archive of photos, plus images taken as part of recent news stories. Here are its features:
- BROWSE – Discover compelling, continually updated photos within our curated selections.
- SLIDESHOW - view any of the streams as a slideshow.
- SAVE - Save and favorite the pictures that inspire you.
- SHARE – Embed & share your favorite images through social media, blogs, and email.
- WALLPAPER - select your favorite images to use as desktop wallpaper.
Be aware that Getty Images is restricting the downloads of this app to people 17 years of age and older, due to some of the photos containing mature content.
