Welcome to iMore 2.0

Leave a comment below telling us what new features you want to see in iMore 2.0, and be entered to win a $600 Apple Store gift certificate for the iOS 6 device of your dreams!

At the beginning of the year we changed the name of our community to iMore.com. Since then we have been working incredibly hard to improve the quality and experience of iMore as well. We've invested heavily in having not only great content, but compellingly beautiful content with the best photography and videography we can produce.

We've continuously expanded and improved our podcasting, bringing you the best and brightest hosts and guests on the internet, for shows like iMore, Iterate, ZEN and TECH, and Mobile Nations. We've given the iMore forums a major makeover as well, so they're cleaner and easier to use than ever before. We've released a free iMore for iPhone app that's been downloaded tens of thousands of times.

And there's much more of all of that to come. For even longer now, however, we've been working on something else, something far more important -- a new, more powerful, more flexible platform to drive it all.

And today we made the jump.

Everything has been moved over. Every bit of legacy code from Phone different (Movable Type), the iPhone blog and TiPb (Wordpress) has been end of lined, and everything we've learned from CrackBerry.com and Android Central has been put to use. I'm calling it VISOR (it's Drupal-based, but VISOR better fits our roots and our spirit.)

Our singular goal is to give the iMore community the absolute best experience imaginable on the web and in mobile. Moving to VISOR will let us do that, and in ways that were impossible on our old platform.

This is the new iMore architecture, and the new architecture for a cleaner, better Mobile Nations.

Like any new architecture, we've started with the foundation. Some of the new features are already in place -- you can now toggle between blog view and headline view, and you browse the latest forum discussions right from the home page. More features will be coming soon.

In other words, this is our Snow Leopard.

With any substantial change, there will be a tiny little bit of pain – you'll need to create an iMore account to comment on the posts. The good news:

  • It will greatly reduce the amount of spam we've all been putting up with

And best of all:

  • If you already have an iMore forums account, you're good to go. Just use that.
  • If you already have an account at Android Central, CrackBerry, webOSNation, or WPCentral, you can use the same username, email address, and password to create your iMore account.

The reason for the latter is one of the features we have coming your way -- a unified login across all Mobile Nations community. One account to rule them all.

We recognize creating an account can be a hassle, and while it will give you a ton of great benefits now and in the future, we want to make up for it immediately as well.

You know that iOS 6 dream device contest -- that $600 Apple gift certificate we're giving away to celebrate the iMore show #300?

Well, we're giving away two of them now.

Simply sign in an leave a single comment below telling us what features you'd love to see in the all new iMore, and you're entered to win.

We'll announce both winners next Wednesday, July 11, live on the iMore Show #302.

I want to thank our community and our millions of readers, listeners, and viewers. I want to thank our tech team, including our founder, Marcus Adolfsson, our dear leader, Kevin Michaluk, Tom for the bits and David and Jose for the grids and the pixels, and all of our editors, writers, and network and community staff for everything they've done to get us here.

Like I said last time, we're still only just beginning.

Welcome to iMore 2.0.

iMore show 301: iPad mini and iOS 6 Q&A part 2

Reader comments

Welcome to iMore 2.0

Firstly, this is not butt-kissing, the layout is fantastic. I do alot of design work for the company I work for and know what crap looks like ie they're old news ads. The team did a great job. I would love to see a drop down menu to select posts relating specifically to devices or apps. Even when I use the search it is difficult sometimes to find an old post. If this feature does already exist, please let me know and I'll shut my mouth! Keep up the great work!!!

I really like the easier access to discussions. That is how we accomplish the most and any features geared toward that are more than welcome.

Thanks for the beautiful new look and feel to iMore. You guys are doing great work. If I had to say anything, I guess it would be for more video podcasts. The interaction is great.

The site is awesome! However, you guys should do more app reviews and possibly cydia reviews. Thanks for all the effort you guys put in to make the iWorld interesting!

This new site is awesome! You have really out done yourself. I think the way iMore is now, it's at its best , maybe add more contests, and DIY content.

Feature request: a way to scroll down to the comments from the top of the comments. Especially with posts with a many comments like this one, scrolling down takes a while, especially on an iPhone. ;-)

I've been digging the daily deals and photo contests. As for new content I think some more accessory reviews would be great.

id like to see a mobile experience that seems like it was built for the iphone, instead of my old razr.

1010, number works for me. great site, excited for the changes, keep it up. youre doing everything the way its suppose to right now!

iMore is Awesome just the way it is, maybe add an advertisement for accessories.....like just show off a different one a day or week. Thankx

IMore 2.0 looks great. Navigation is very clean and easy to use. Only suggestion I would make is for a persistent navigation bar that sticks to the top of the page, some of the pages are long (lots of great content!) and a persistent nav bar makes it easy to get back to other topics. Thanks for all the great apple coverage!

I would like to see information of the cost benefit breakdowns of jail breaking b/c I'm really on the fence but don't really want to do it of I have to deal with the updating hassle and losing tweaks. I had an old jb'en device and remember the frustration. Anyways guys keep up the good work I will be listening imore often now.

iMore is a great site and I love the interaction between the other sites such as CrackBerry and Android Central. As a former BlackBerry user and now iPhone convert I would love to see reviews of new products from a users perspective. When the new iOS device comes out give it to a Android Central member, CrackBerry memeber and an iMore member and let the battle begin! Let the peoples voice be heard!

I think iMore 2.0 is like a refill on my favorite smoothie with an added twist of flavore. Changes are good. It keeps the creativity to a high that never decepates. iMore the one site I look to for anything mobile. Other sites are informative but do not give me what iMore gives me. And that's personable app experiences/recommendations. I follow Rene etc on twitter just in case i miss something on here. Other sites I don't even know who's the author of the posts. These iMore guys/gals are in our faces everyday they stand next to us waiting to get the next iOS device or update and that's why Im exicted to see everything of iMore 2.0 thanks a million.

Looking forward to discovering more of your site. would really like to win this giveaway. my suggestion: more giveaways. thanks!

I would love to see less clutter on the new imore.com. Imore already is a top notch site. I really can't imagine what the new site will look like. I'm looking forward to it :)

a perfect site for every platform bb,i os and android. i really look forward for many awesome features in your new idea.

Thanks for the all the articles and tutorials. I visit the site daily to see whats new. Keep up the good work.

I have to say, this new layout is fantastic! I have been using Google Reader for so long that when I arrived at the new layout, I was wonderfully surprised. There is one change I would make... for the navigation bar at the top, it would be wonderful if they were like drop downs with sub categories.

iMore, well done! As a faithful subscriber to all Mobile Nations blogs over the years I turn to you daily, sometimes two or three times a day, for my tech news and just plain entertainment through discussions and posts. Thank you!
In 2.0 I think it would be cool to see a feature that supports the ability to speak on certain topics across all Mobile Nations forums- to see how everyone reacts to announcements in one unified place and where they're posting from (i.e. - Crackberry, Android Central, etc.) my friends on different platforms and I always love debating why one platform is better than the other, especially when a company announces something new and exciting in the tech world. This would keep us from having to click over to individual sites to see who's saying what. Just a thought- thanks :)

I would love to see a feature that showed the timeline of a story as it evolves. This would be most useful when a story has multiple updates or develops over a longer period of time (weeks or months).

Please make sure you tailor some content for those of us stuck on older hardware! Lots of iPad 1 owners being left behind on iOS 5 :(

I can't think of anything to add! I have really enjoyed using this site. Would be nice to finally stop window shopping for the iPad!
Cheers to iMore for running such a well organized site! e

I'd love it if there was a "tip of the day" somewhere on the top. Something cool that we might not have known about.

To see your Mountain Lion!!! It's a great site already. I come here for my news on Apple products and really this is the only place. I'm content with it! :)

I really love all your sites, I discovered this one thanks to crackberry, and I'm also a fan of wpcentral. I really love the new design, it's very sleek!
If you want my 2 cents I can give you some advices:
- A tag cloud would be nice, if you also realize how to make a browsable tag cloud would be also better
-A live research is a very useful feature. You type and you instantly get a preview of some results. Should be quite easy to implement it in Ajax or JQuery (if I remember well)
-A lot of usability studies stated that a facet research help the user to find/browser the content, and they also state that the left part of the screen is the one that people usually look, so make your choice.
I honestly really like the design of the website, I give you these advices as future improvements, obviously if you want to accept them.
If in exchange you want to give me a giveaway, well, trust me, I'll surely accept it! :p
In any case, congratulations for the upgrade :)

It would be cool for imore 2.0 to have some way to geographically organize the imore forum users so we can organized meet ups.

Site's definitely looking nice. As far as what feature I want? Hmmm.... I guess it's still a little slow to load, especially on mobile. Maybe even more optimization in that respect?

Would really like offline navigation system from the brand new Apple Map ;O, every GPS device sucks until I tried Apple's ;) thanks iMore, thanks Apple!

I have been flowing you guys since TiPb first started and can say you all have done a good job! The updates have been great and can not think of anything to significant to add. The only thing that comes to mind is possible have video reviews on apps and accessories so that the users can really get a better experience from them (which I know tons of videos will unfortunately weigh heavily on the memory). Also, I would love to see an ipad app come soon. Other than that keep up the good work!!!

I would like to see a "top stories" section at the top of the page. Kind of like WPCentral has. I've been following this site for quite some time now and it just seems to keep getting better. Keep up the good work.

Great site! I honestly don't have any suggestions other than keep it up, love the new look and, of course, the giveaways.

So far, liking the changes. I'd like to see more reviews, apps, accessories, whatever. There are so many products, I need help deciding.

Love the redesign, and as for a new section I would like to see, how about a cross comparison area where you can select the iDevice of your dreams and compare it without kool aide to a.competitors offering.

Just keep on keepin on iMore! iMore2.0 looks great and you guys are doing an awesome job keepin the community informed!!! Thanks for your hard work and efforts

I'd like to see more jailbreak tweak reviews. And not just necessarily from the main repos.

Good work on the site guys!

I'd prefer it if I could sign into iMore with Facebook or twitter.
I think it would make life a lot easier but also bring a more personal experience to iMore.

Hey guys, this is a great blog, but I'd love to see more and more iPad info. (You can't never get enough, can you?)
See you guys!

I started out as a member of crackberry back in the day and loved the content, tips, and support that the site gave. You all have brought that same feel from that site over here to iMore and I love it. Although, for us people that are addicted to our iPad's it would be awesome to see a dedicated iPad app.

Thanks for all do :)

Great website, however I would definitely like a mobile website. The full scale website just doesn't translate well to 3.5".

How about a regular segment that readers contribute to for examples on how they use their ios devices in everyday life. Call it "readers everyday life with ios" or something like that. I'd be happy to submit an example.

It would be great to have more technical info available on the iOS platform on the site.. Accessory reviews are good -- but more technical info would be great.. Upcoming changes with iOS development, more stuff about whats under the hood would be an excellent improvement IMO!

I love the site as it is. If anything, there seems to be a dramatically reduced number of reviews for peripheral devices. It all seems to be just apps and cases now.

I follow iMore mostly through Flipboard news reader, so I'm not the best person to comment on website design and layout. I'm satisfied overall with the quality of your articles and video material. Just keep up the good work!

Thanks for the content! Great stuff.

As for iMore.com, it's a great resource for my Inner Geek. The only feature I can really think of would be more video how-to's (e.g. becoming more efficient with iCloud).

Overall though, I have no real complaints.

I appreciate the cleaner and simpler look that is less cluttered. Also, love the iphone imore app - just wish there was an ipad version.

I would like to see a new theme. I know there was a small refresh not too long ago but I would like to see things get switched up. Maybe go for a darker look. I think iMore would look awesome with a darker theme. :)

Small change, but can you have the sharing options at the top of the articles? It makes it so much easier so share once you have read an article. I read on my iPad so I am used to jumping to the top once I finish and then share. That seems to be the 'norm' on the majority of the sites I read. The share options tend to get lost in the end of the article.

The diversity of content on the site is tremendous, and the range of levels of expertise/geekery catered to is commendable and far beyond other 'competing' sites. I confess I wasn't convinced when the iMore name was introduced, but it has really grown on me and I must admit I was wrong and you were right: it fits you like a glove! I must also commend you for the editorial quality of the site. I also follow Cult of Mac and the number of typographical errors on their posts is becoming irritating. iMore seems to have slightly tighter editorial standards. It's a small thing, but as an editor myself, it's much appreciated. My only suggestion for further improvement would be to remove the letterbox banner advert at the top of the site. I realise you probably won't owing to revenue needs, but it is visually irritating to me given the clean aesthetic of the rest of the site. Keep up the good work and diverse mix of content and media.

Can't think of any amazing feature that should be added, the site seems well rounded, mobile friendly, easy to use simple comment section etc.

First - The new look is great, it is very iOS (coincidence - I think not).

Second - Let's have some more apps! I would really like to see some features on how to solve X problem with an app. For example, I am having trouble sleeping. May I have some app recommendations on ways to fall asleep to music and/or wake up to it? I can never have TOO MANY great app recommendations and analysis.

Third - I would like to see some articles (podcasts are great, but my crazy life doesn't always allow me to enjoy them) presenting both sides of an issue. Nothing too long, I do not have as much time as I would like to read iMore! Maybe Rene writes a page, five paragraphs, on why Apple should win it's lawsuit against X company then another writer, say from Android Central, presents their viewpoint on why they should NOT win. Just my thoughts!

I've been reading this site since 2008 and it continues to impress me. Not only the great articles but even how the site has evolved.

The only thing I would like to see is more Team Jailbreak articles!!!

Keep up the great work iMore team!

Nice layout overall, though I do have one suggestion: as others have mentioned, move the comments box to the top rather than requiring scrolling to the bottom of the page. Also, a weekly podcast would be great, too.

I can't think of too many things that you don't cover fully already. This is my first stop most morning to get caught up on the latest information. I would like to see more reviews of business apps and apps for education resources. Thanks for everything. C.

I'd like to see nothing new. Your show is already perfect! Thank you guys for taking your time to share your info!

You've done such a great job with this version of your site that at the moment I cant think of anything you could do to improve it.

Nicely done on iMore 2.0! A mobile version of this site would be useful to me. Thanks for being my main source for apple mobile news!

Luv imore!!! But needs better search, I tried searching once for how to wipe my iPhone and restore with or without a backup and it took forever going through search on the site!

I'd like to see more personal posts or interactions from the contributors. I feel that it'll make us connect with you guys on a deeper level.

I've had an iPhone four for two years now. It's time for an upgrade. Thank you imore for educating me with the latest and greatest of apple device news. There is a reason why you are my most visited website.

As e-books are on the rise, I'd like to see iMore's tutorials complied into an iBook textbook with iBook author. :)

I would like to see follow-up reviews, meaning 1 month, 3 month, or 6 month later reviews. I find these types of stories helpful for three reasons:
1) It provides for a different perspective that is without the immediate hype or disappointment of a product release.
2) It also allows for more detail on how a particular product fits into one's daily life/workflow.
3) Finally, it allows for a the product to be compared to similar or competing products that have since been released.
I am always grateful when I can find these types of reviews and I think it would be a helpful addition to the site. Keep up the good work.

Really psyched with the overhaul and the contributors are well-informed, so their opinions are highly valued by me. Even though it's great already, I'd like to see even more Cydia App/Tweak reviews on a daily basis.

Hey guys and gals,

I've been a long time subscriber to your Google Reader feeds, this is one of the first times I've been to your site (on my actual computer), I've visited plenty of times from my iDevices and even my Android devices, I've switched back and forth so many times it's hard to count lol.

Anyway awesome work with the new site, I've been browsing around thinking of suggestions, since I have ulterior motives posting ;) The giveaways are awesome, as are your deal announcements!

Keep up the great work

I don't have a solid new interface idea for your 2.0. Perhaps a "New iPhone Users" section at the top or bottom, or a 'Weekly iMore Fan iPhoto" square along the right bar, no bigger than 300x300, that members can submit creative/funny iOS based photos of themselves.

Everything looks beautiful! I'm excited about how everything looks.

This is just an idea: I notice that the comments section runs pretty long. It may just be because it's the same colors over and over, but I suggest either adding design on top of the already awesome wallpaper, or condense the comments so they are readable and extendable.

Like the new format and I don't think there would be much I would change. I guess perhaps just saying that more how to's and more reviews of apps would be nice.

Since the new OS Mountain Lion for Macs is supposedly like IOS, maybe consider adding in Mac Pro and Air in your forums, how to's, etc.

Hi guys- the new site is awesome! I guess I would add more contests and maybe some more giveaways. More tutorials as well. Overall I love it!

I would like to see live widgets on apple screen instead of lock screen or icons always.useful widgets like weather, clock, currency and callender should be brought on lock screen so that we get to know them without unlocking the idevice.

i have to say from when this site was tipb (rip lol) i am very very happy with the new look and style its very streamlined like iOS. Very easy to find things and the updates to new articles are still great as ever!!!!

On second thought, I would like the ability to see more history on the iPhone app, for news, articles, etc.

Please help me leave the android world behind!! I would love a new iphone to finally dump my epic! Please help !!!

P.S. If no one hears from me in a couple of days please just reboot my epic, it seems like that fixes most issues now. I would swear it runs windows in the background.

I love the way the new site looks! I started out as a die hard Android fanboy, but with all the fragmentation and issues with getting updates from certain carriers, I'm ready for a change. Regardless of whether I win a gift card, I will definitely be purchasing a new iPhone when the next generation is released later this year. Having won a gift card would just make the new phone and transition much better and a whole lot easier on my wallet!

Don't think you really need to add anything - you guys pretty much cover it all. I used to check numerous sites each day regarding iPhone/iPad information and now your site is basically the only one I check and is the one I find the most relative information on. GREAT JOB!

I'd really like to see more about the editors and writers of iMore. You guys are really talented! What a fantastic site!

iMORE 2.0 seems great already, but here are a few ideas:

- Give us a feature that allows to pick from the "WHITE" theme to a "BLACK" theme for the site, some times it's just to bright for my eyes. That would just be a neat thing.

- Secondly, I would recommend you offer some of your most popular posts and pages translater to Spanish or other languages. This would help you reach more people that love in the US and overseas.

iMore is the site I turn to for up-to-date ipad/iphone news

I would love to see more:

- App Reviews
- Contests
- Daily Polls

As many other having a mobile friendly version of the web would be my first choice.
A better way to sort my searches, more review & such thing that help me out to decide what i can do, and last but usefull keep writting good articles i mean quality on them.

Few things: Comments link on top of article, "quick view" for text of article, more articles on each page. Great site. Congratulations!

It looks great, I love it! Especially the comments! The only thing I think might be cool is a section to preview different iphones. Either a section including different jailbreak themes, or possibly examples of how you (or members) set up their iphones. Like themes, folder organization, cases, what icons are on the doc, or even what apps make the first/second/third page etc. I love getting new ideas!

Love the format!! And all of your hard work is amazing. One of the features I'd LOVE to see is maybe a live Q&A on the podcasts or maybe in chat format. I'm a huge fan of forums but maybe a special 1 hour segment featuring Q&A and maybe live contests would be great! Keep up the amazing work!! iMore iRocks!!!!!

this site just keeps getting better and better! please show more how to cloud articles, how to keep everything in sync and working in harmony! (contacts, pics, calendar, data)

First and foremost, you guys do a top notch job! You guys are rock stars and run this site and the amount of content available is phenomenal! Having said that, if I had to suggest anything, I personally would like a small portion of the imore show dedicated to a Q&A session and/or user feedback. I really enjoyed the iOS 6 Q&A themed imore shows. It seems that this element would add an environment that is more inclusive and personal, especially for the ppl that have no choice but to enjoy the audio version of the imore show. Thanks guys, keep up the good work!

I'm liking the new look of the site. I've been reading for a while, and this commenting update might have me commenting more on the articles now. I'd like to see some apps and accessories for university and school this August. I'm starting my second year of univeristy in Sept (first with my iPad) and would like some advice on what apps and accessories will make my life easiest.

The new site looks great.
It seems simpler and that is good.
I'd like an easier way to get back to the main site from the store. Once you get to the store there is no easy way to get back.

The new look is very nice, but it does require a lot more scrolling. I have given links to how-to articles to others to help them learn how to use their devices, and have even learned some things myself, so I appreciate those instructional articles. Have never watched a video I have to admit, it's only the text based information that is useful to me.

Most things are superb, iMore-ers have already listed some of the good-to-have improvements; App Store app give-aways and jailbreak app licence give-aways would be cool

I'd like to see complete stories in the main blog instead of having to jump. Except maybe the really long opinion pieces

This blog is awesome and adds to the already great iMore site........ I want to hear more and more about the new tricks and tips for using the iPhone and the release of the newest iphone with ios6 on it........will it be called iPhone 5 or maybe it will be named iPhone 6 to go along with the ios 6 software?????

I came to iMore from Crackberry.com about 2 years ago and see this as my permanent home for my iOS devices. I love the Team iMore section on the homepage, but my suggestion is to have each of the members personalize it more. Coming from Crackberry.com one of the things I liked most about the site was that you felt like you knew Kevin.....the blogger side and the personal side. This allowed for people to connect with him on a more personal level when you become aware of things you may have in common. I would like to know a little bit of a back story of the members. Thanks. :)

I really enjoy your site. I would like to see more iPad app reviews, especially free apps for the budget minded. :)

I love iMore, you guys have tons of personality and I've been a frequent reader for a long time now. I think there could be a few changes. The mobile site has always been kind of sucky, even now I find myself constantly zooming in and out. Make an app or just make it super simple to navigate. Also I wish the store showcased sale items better. The video review music intro haha is way to dorky for me, I'd like the marimba remix back! Also more articulated video reviews would be nice. Sometimes they get a little off topic. I love this website, I hope my suggestions don't seem bratty because I really would like to see some of them in the future. You guys rock!

I would like to see more ideas on customizing you iPhone based upon how you use it. ie: business, media, gaming, etc.

Love the new layout. Professional and clean...well done. I like videos. More videos of reviews, how-to's, etc. Oh and rumors! I'm an Apple rumor junkie!

I would like to see links to external websites in blog posts open in a new tab/window. This is a common web standard and its shocking you guys don't do this.

Also...I would like to see more contests and giveaways.

Thanks for all the good info!

Good job on the new iMore, great usability.

I would love to see more member input on which apps/accessories you choose to review. Maybe in the form of a poll? Just an idea.

I have been happy so far with all of the changes. I feel like it come to this site 50 times a day!

I appreciate all the hard work and have enjoyed reading all of the articles. I work for Sprint so it has been a nice reference for new customers to gain insight about Apple and how far you can push their devices.

This site is soooo awesome now. I feel that everything is very organized now, i love the easy access to jailbreak tools, and the availability of those download files right on the site. Other than that the site is much cleaner, very good transformation, i feel like their is no need to adjust as everything is very user friendly.

Really like the site - about the only thing really that I'd like to see (and I've seen it mentioned before) is to move the add new comment to the top of the comment list. On an article, such as this one, with many comments its a little annoying to have to scroll so far to leave a comment.

I love the photography on each post. They look reayy awesome. I also love the unique posts and I hope to see more of those. It sucks to read Apple blogs that report the same stale information and stupid rumors over and over. Keep up the good work, and love the new look!

Love the site - I would love to see even more jailbreak tweaks and hidden gems from Cydia and/or the App Store.

I don't think any additional features are needed, it's already great you're doing this. I just think the old name was better (TiPb) lol.

I WOULD LOVE this giftcard. I will put it towards the new iPhone that comes out this year! Thanks to everyone at iMore for giving all of us this opportunity!

as a longtime fan of iMore and back in the day TiPb i think the one feature i'd love to see (tho maybe too late at this point for me) is Facebook Auth to login/create account and Facebook enabled commenting.

that is all :)

I'd like to see some more "techie" articles...be it iOS, OS X or combination of both & getting an iOS App & an OS X app in sync.

Thank you so much for all the hard work on the site! A new feature I'd like to see is a better way to add comments to a post like this. Its hard to scroll all the way to the bottom (at this time, there are over 1100 comments before me!).

I would love more podcasts and videos (sorry I know they are a lot of work). It's impossible for me to be on during the live show. Although consistency is probably best maybe it could move around a bit?

The thing I would like to see most in the iMore 2.0 update is a more mobile-friendly iMore, without ads (or at least not as many). It should also be available not just on iOS, but on BBOS and Android as well. Also, it would be nice not having to scroll down to the very bottom of articles to leave a comment. One more thing, I love your reviews of products and comparisons between devices. Would love to see more of those!

The greatest feature I could see right now is my very first iphone IN MY HAND...here's hoping. Great job on the site and show btw. Keep up the good work.

I personally like the new format, but it would be nice to have more give away and more videos and reviews. It would also be nice if you gave reviews of other products and pitting it against the iphone. I do like the comments now.

So far so good, I love the new format. Optimizing the mobile view and performance is very important to me, as I almost exclusively browse the web on my iPhone. Other than that I think you all have done a great job transitioning. I love reading about all the latest rumors and speculation leading up to the release of a new iPhone or iPad!

iMore's amazing, I don't think there are any improvements needed!

But yeah comments are a mess. I have to scroll all the way down to type one. Not a 'life-threatening' thing, but it affects the loading time.

Love the updated site. Everything is easy to locate but if something could be added, I would like to be able to search by author, date and keyword on any topic. Great job iMore team. Keep up the good work!

I like how the new I more automatically fills the screen, but the downshot is that I can no longer zoom in on images. Please find a way to allow zooming.

Wow! Congratulations!

One thing I would appreciate would be an up vote/ down vote ranking system for comments, a la reddit. Trolls could be down voted, decreasing their visibility, and good comments would be made more visible.

I would like to see more video reviews. Great website though. imore makes my ios experiece that much easier (coming from android) and will get easier with the new update to the site.

how bout a more organized experiece... there are too many places too look at... a page should be mainly concentrated on the arcticle... anyways... hope to hear my name as one of the winners...

iMore more more, howdaya like me? howdaya like me?

I bet you heard the song in your head while you read that, didn't you?

I love iMore the way it is right now, but if anything I'd love to see more video content!

I love imore! I've been visiting this website daily for the past year and a half and I love all of the stories and helpful tips you publish. I would love if there were more accessory reviews on here. I've found a lot of cases that I love because of your reviews.

Hi iMore Team -

I've been coming here for years and like the improvements very much. How about a daily podcast? I would love a 30 minute news update along with tips and maybe a Q&A to make my commute a bit more pleasant. How about changing the name of the site?, I still don't like it.

i'd like to see an imore ipad app also, other than that not much else. thanks for putting out a great site.

I'd like to see two things: a compatible mobile website and more videos embedded in articles. Thanks for all the great work so far!

Let's face it. There are Apple fanboys and Android fanboys. Then there are BlackBerry addicts. Don't forget the Palm and WebOS lovers. Lastly, we have Windows Mobile enthusiasts. With all these fanboys, addicts, lovers, and enthusiasts, there will always be bickering, trolling, and playful back and forth wars between the platforms.

I think each site under the Mobile Nations banner should have Trolling Tuesdays where each other gets to politely slam the other platforms for their shortcomings. It has to be fresh, it has to be factual, and it has to be in good fun.

All other days, everyone should leave their hatred and vitriol at the door before posting comments on articles praising a particular platform.

I would love to get one of these!! I am very interested in making an app for ios, but i do not have a mac to do so on. This would help me out so much!!! Thanks imore for your generosity!!

imore 2.0 looks great could be streamlined a bit more but overall looks great. Probably looks much better on a retina screen.

I love the iMore the way it is now, I don't think much has to be added to it. All I'd like to see is being able to add comments like this from the app. Am I missing something, are you already able to do this?

I would like to see more of the in detail and well written articles about apple news that i check for daily.

How about a feature to read articles in a 3rd-party app like Pocket or Reeder etc. good luck to everyone!!

I love the site, but I would also suggest moving the new comment box to the top of the comment section. It's a little bit annoying to have to scroll all the way up and down.

Looking at what yo did for the how-to's for photos It would be cool if you guys could do the same for would be musicians and cooking enthusiasts and have a recommended list of apps. Things often get lost in the appstore and the little gem's are not found. If you had people curate those two spots that would be killer. Also catering a section to a lifestyle than a tech junkie would be swell. Especially with SEO and stuff implemented well should open you guys up to a bigger audience :)

I'd like to see iMore 3.0 include smaller prizes for daily contests. I really feel that iMore would be able to gather sponsors on a weekly or daily basis for smaller prizes. I read iMore.com every single day, but daily drawings would definitely inspire me to comment and become more involved every day. These prizes could even be coupons for free apps that I'm sure app developers wouldn't mind donating for app reviews etc.

It'd also be cool if every single App Review section had a post template with an automated App Rating system to rival Apple's rating / review system. Something on the main display on the top and would be easily searchable in it's own search filter.

I love the idea about easy access to the forum. i would love to see it more upfront, easy access. I feel it's get buried.

It'd be cool to have a products page where users can review sort of like how The Verge does it.

Maybe also have a place to review major features of iOS.

While I'm sure it would turn into troll bait, maybe a section for developers to submit their own apps for review. Kinda like a comments section for apps. You could check out the app, then leave comments for the developer.

Love the new site and organization -
The search really needs more advanced capabilities - can't find some of your articles easily months later.

Keep up the good work

Love the site and the podcasts! Would love to see some more real world examples Apple products used in various industries, starting with engineering.

Congrats on the new site.

I would recommend two things:

1. Ability to recommend/approve/like comments by other people
2. Reduce the amount of comments per page. Scrolling to the bottom of this page took way too long.

Otherwise, great improvement!

Awesome work guys, I'm totally loving the site. I would perhaps maybe like to see a few more stories with iOS tricks that don't necessarily deal with Jailbreaking. All in all, awesome site, keep up the great work!

Really interested in video features - reviews, app demos, interviews...sometimes just get tired of reading when that's what I do on a computer screen all day at work! Great site, always first place I come to for Apple news. Thanks

This site is simplistic and clean just like Apple - keep up the good work imore team. Maybe I would like to see a kickstarter section where you recommend which product you would like to back up. That would be awesome.

Can you add the site #in the tip as well so you don't have to scroll forever to get to the bottom of the page - Preferred make the site scroll free?

Only thing I can think of would be to add more contests with options for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and possibly smaller prizes, just more of them. Perhaps a mobile site, but your app covers everything very well. Really like the site!

I'm very pleased with iMore 2.0 and can't think of a single feature that's missing. Definitely a sign that iMore is in good hands. I'm sure I'll think of something down the road.

Keep up the great work!

The only think I ask of you and all your staff is that you forgo sleep an personal lives and report 24hrs a day on every little story that has to do with Apple. If there is no news to report please just give me rumors and random forums post that sound creditable. Thank you for your time.

The feature I'd like to see most are screenshots of the homescreens for all the editors. It's an odd request, but I like to see different ways on how to organize my homescreens on my 3rd gen iPad.

ok what i want, a new iphone 4S if i won a 600$ gift card, ok come back to reality better info about another iDevice's like the ipod touch, suport for jailbreak and overclocking and any kind of customization for iDevice's would be so great, thank Rene :D

Nice refresh. Mostly, I'd like to continue to see jailbreak tweak reviews and walkthroughs, and maybe more app reviews and walkthroughs. I'd really like to see comparisons of apps in certain categories, so users can make informed decisions about which apps to purchase/download (i.e. Twitter for iPhone vs. Tweetbot for iPhone vs. Tweetings for iPhone, etc.).

Thanks for the great website! I particularly enjoy the jailbreak articles! More info on this would be great.

i(want)MORE. Just more. You do a great job. Just give me more.

Hmmmm, I'm too lazy. Just give me more and I'll be happy.
