Another week, another honorary degree for Apple design chief Jony Ive. The UK's University of Oxford has bestowed upon Ive an honorary Doctorate of Science. Ive was recognized for his contributions to the world of design.
Sir Jonathan Ive is Chief Design Officer of Apple Inc and designer of the iMac, PowerBook, iBook, iPod, iPhone, iPad, AppleWatch and MacBook. Six of his products appear in the permanent collections of New York's Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).
This is Ive's second honorary degree this month. He was previously honored by the University of Cambridge with another Doctorate of Science.
