Apple Begins 10K Count Down to 10 Billion iTunes Music Downloads

Apple has begun a countdown to it's 10 billionth (that's right, 10,000,000,000) iTunes music download, and to celebrate they're giving away a $10,000 dollar gift card.

iTunes changed the way you buy music, making songs and albums available for download, day or night. Seven years later, we’re about to celebrate our biggest milestone for music, yet — 10 billion songs downloaded. Buy a song, and if it’s the 10 billionth download, you could win a $10,000 iTunes Gift Card. It’s our way of saying thanks.

Similar to the give away they did for the 1 billionth App Store app download, we're left to wonder -- how would you spend $10K on iTunes, and how harsh will commenters be to the poor young kid who inevitably always wins these things?
