Apple launched the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus in Korea today to hundreds of fans forming queues at major retail stores in the region, according to Patently Apple. SK Telecom, KT and LG Uplus held special launch events to celebrate the official release of the new smartphones.
The image and news of the successful launch follow iPhone 6s pre-orders selling out a few days ago. KT stated the carrier took 10,000 pre-orders in the first minute, with all three networks closing pre-order applications soon after opening due to high levels of demand.
