Apple TV+ has reportedly signed Academy Award-nominated producer and director Alexander Rodnyansky for both Russian and multi-language shows based inside and outside of Russia.
According to a Variety report, Rodnyansky's experience within Russia is the key reason Apple has signed a deal with his LA-based firm AR Content.
The director and producer went on to say that his team will be working with the best of the best in terms of international writers and directors to make Russian-speaking content in the same way Hebrew and Arabic content has been popular in recent years.
There's currently no timeline on when we should see the fruits of this deal, but there is no shortage of new content coming to Apple TV+ while we wait. New deals are seemingly being signed weekly with new content arriving all the time.
