Catch the first episode of 'Better Call Saul' for free on iTunes

If you weren't able to catch "Better Call Saul" earlier this week on AMC, there's no need to worry: you can now pick the premier episode up for free through iTunes.

For those of you in the dark about such things, Better Call Saul is a prequel to the ever-popular Breaking Bad. The story follows Saul Goodman on his journey from a young upstart lawyer to the dirty, scheming version of himself that teams up with Jesse and Walt in Breaking Bad.

If you want to check it out, you can grab the first episode, "Uno," for free on iTunes now. Each episode after runs $2.99 for the HD version, and $1.99 for SD. Alternatively, you can also go ahead and purchase a season pass that runs $25.99 in HD and $16.99 in SD.

As an aside, it looks like iTunes is alone in offering the first episode for free, as I was kicking myself after paying $2.99 to watch it on a competing service last night.

  • Is it that hard for you guys to remember that your audience is actually THE WHOLE WORLD and that at least half of your readers just clicked on that link only to be disappointed and find out that this is a "USA only" proposition? The conceited selfishness of Americans just slays me every time. It never even occurs to you guys that there are other people on the planet does it?
  • Yes, they still have not grasped the concept of the Internet being worldwide.
  • USA is No.1 rah rah rah. The world stops at the US border doesn't it? Anyway you're not missing anything in this case. But I wish Apple would become less US-centric, there is after all, a bigger more interesting varied world outside the US border.
