Eddy Cue, Apple's SVP of Internet Software and Services, has announced to Apple personel the launch of an internal, employees-only section of iTunes that showcases books, movies, and other media that has been worked on by Apple employees. Cue announced the new section via email, according to 9to5Mac:
Employees on iTunes only extends to media projects, as Apple does not allow workers to develop their own apps for the App Store, and there's no sign that'll change anytime soon.
Still, this is a great way for Apple to show support for their own, build some morale and raise spirits, and simply have some fun. Kudos and congrats to everyone involved! And if you've caught a glimpse of it, let us know how you like it!
