Help earthquake victims in Japan and Ecuador with Red Cross donations via iTunes

Apple is giving customers a a way to help victims of the recent bout of earthquakes in Japan and Ecuador. The company has set up a donation page in iTunes through which people can donate up to $200 directly to the American Red Cross (opens in new tab).

The donation page comes in the wake of devastating earthquakes that rocked both Japan and Ecuador within hours of one another this past week.

Apple has launched similar relief efforts in the past, including one to help earthquake victims in Nepal in 2015. If you'd like to contribute, you can donate to the Red Cross at the link below.

  • Thank you for posting this!
  • The Red Cross funds animal research (aka animal mutilation). There are much better organizations to donate to that don't kill animals.
  • The AMERICAN Red Cross is a for-profit Non Profit organization that keeps 50% of all donations. If you want to make a 100% difference, donate directly to the Japanese Consulate. Sent from the iMore App
