meross has announced the launch of its latest HomeKit-enabled accessory on Thursday — the MDL110 Smart LED Desk Lamp. As the name suggests, the new HomeKit lamp is designed for placement on a desk with a sleek, foldable design that delivers convenient touch and app controls.
According to meross, the MDL110 desk lamp features a durable, high-quality aluminum alloy head that gives it a clean, modern design and helps with heat dissipation. The lamp measures 15.7-inches tall by 4.7-inches wide, and the adjustable folding arm has a span of just under 16-inches.
The MDL110 includes a total of 54 LED beads that allow the lamp to produce flicker-free white color temperatures ranging from 2800 to 6000K. On the base of the lamp are a set of touch controls that cycle through four brightness levels and three white preset color temperatures.
The meross lamp connects to HomeKit and the meross app — available on iOS and Android, via 2.4GHZ Wi-Fi without the need for a dedicated hub. In addition to HomeKit, the lamp supports Amazon's Alexa, Google Assistant, Samsung SmartThings, and IFTTT. By pairing the lamp to an intelligent assistant, users can access a full range of dimming controls, adjust color temperature, create schedules, and use it in automation with other smart home accessories.
The meross Smart LED Desk Lamp is available now through Amazon at a retail price of $64.99. Like most HomeKit accessory releases from meross, the company is celebrating the launch by offering a limited-time discount that shaves $20 off, which can be applied by clipping the coupon on the Amazon listing.
The latest smart lamp from meross is a sleek desk-side companion that provides convenient color temperature adjustments and HomeKit controls.
