Nintendo Indie World: Everything announced during the December 2021 showcase

The Nintendo Switch is home to tons of amazing indie games. Every year Nintendo holds at least one Indie World Showcase, a presentation similar to their Nintendo Direct shows, but dedicated to indie games.

The December 2021 Indie World Showcase premiered on December 15, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. PT, 12:00 p.m. ET. If you missed out on the presentation, don't worry! We have everything announced listed right here. You can also watch the presentation below.

Every game announced during the Indie World Showcase

The following games were announced during the December 2021 presentation:

Sea of Stars

From the team behind The Messenger, this flashy pixelated RPG brings in modernized elements for a fun, yet challenging experience. Travel through several locales by walking, swimming, and climbing cliffs, and build your party. Launches on Nintendo Switch during Holiday 2022.

Aliisha - The Oblivion of Twin Goddesses

Traverse through temples in beautiful environments with two sisters. Each sister controls differently, with one using motion controls, and the other using button controls. You can even play co-op for full immersion. This game launches on Nintendo Switch in Spring 2022.

Loco Motive

All aboard! Train rides are fun, until a murder turns everything on its head. This point-and-click comedy has you examine suspects who may help you on your quests to uncover the mystery, but may hinder you. Who can you trust? This game launches in Summer 2022.

After Love EP

This visual novel sports a soft hand-drawn artstyle. Inspired by Japanese manga, this game set in Indonesia allows players to examine themes of love and loss. Play rhythm games and meet new people as you examine what life is like after love. This game launches on Nintendo Switch in Summer 2022.

Dungeon Munchies

Combine cooking, crafting, and combat with Dungeon Munchies. You play as a zombie trying to escape a hellish landscape. Cook your enemies after defeating them to collect buffs that may help you in a pinch. This action-adventure game releases on Nintendo Switch today.

Figment 2: Creed Valley

This puzzle-adventure game takes place within the human mind. Unfortunately, bad thoughts and vibes are making things difficult for you, forcing you to use your noggin to solve puzzles and defeat nightmares. It launches in February 2022, with a free demo launching today.

Let's Play! Oink Games

This series of board games by Oink Games put twists on classic mechanics from board games. With several different games and more to come in the future, you can play both online and offline with friends. This game launches on Nintendo Switch later today.

Endling: Extinction is Forever

As the last mother fox in this post-apocalyptic world, you have to fight to keep your three cubs alive. Hunt animals and teach your cubs new skills in hopes to get away from humans. This game releases in Spring 2022.

Olliolli World

What if skating, but weird? Go on a journey shredding rails with amazing hand-drawn backgrounds. Play against friends and rise up in the leaderboards. This game will be available on February 8, 2022. You can preorder it today!

River City Girls 2

A sequel to the critically-acclaimed beat-em-up offers 2-player co-op online and offline. You can play as one of six characters with unique movesets and fighting styles. Help bring peace to River City once again by beating the snot out of your enemies. This game lands on Nintendo Switch in Summer 2022.

Omori

This critically-acclaimed game features soft colors and pencil illustrations. It's an RPG that takes you on a journey between two worlds, tugging your heartstrings all the way. This game launches in Spring 2022.
