Prime Day is here, which means savings on some of the hottest technology around. Whether you're scouring the website for some of the best iPhone deals or looking for a brand new Nintendo Switch, you may also want to pair it up with a great headset to boot. Some of the best gaming headsets include brands like Razer, Astro, and SteelSeries, the latter of which is known to be particularly excellent. Its Arctis 3 model is 30% off today and will pair up nicely with just about any system you have.

The Arctis 3 features a ski goggle suspension headband, almost making it feel weightless as you wear it for hours on end. When you combine that with its ClearCast microphone, AirWeave ear cushions, on-ear controls, and lightweight design, it makes it hard to beat at a price of just $49.

An excellent option for a Nintendo Switch headset, the SteelSeries Arctis 3 is also compatible with PlayStation, Xbox, VR, and mobile — just about every platform there is, thanks to its wired 3.5mm connection. Treat yourself this Prime Day, and you'll get to wear one of the comfortable headsets out there with its signature ski goggle suspension headband.

Though I don't own the Arctis 3 model, I am familiar with SteelSeries headsets. I have an Arctis 7P, a newer model that's incredibly similar to the Arctis 3. SteelSeries created a strong foundation with its Arctis lineup, so why fix what isn't broken? You don't always need the newest or most expensive model to get a high-quality audio experience, and the Arctis 3 proves that. It's the perfect budget option for people who are OK with a wired headset.

It doesn't get much better than this when it comes to budget gaming headsets. You may not be getting all of the bells and whistles or more premium features found in higher-end models, but this is more than enough for most people.
