Twitter has updated its app for iPhone and iPad today with support for 3D Touch on the new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. Users will now be able to use the pressure-sensitive screen to quickly access creating a new tweet, new message, and more. Here's the official breakdown:
- Support for 3D Touch on iPhone 6s and 6s Plus so that users can access New Tweet, New Message and Search without opening the Twitter app on the home screen
Twitter also notes a number of other features as being fresh to the app, but each one listed, such as quick replies and support for universal links, actually appeared earlier this week in a prior update.
