iTunes can already do this for free as long as you are on the same network. Set it up under sharing in itunes and under ipod in settings on iphone.

Simply put, Orb is better...stream TV, documents, XM Radio (need sub.), music, videos.

JR... I am able to play DRM protected music. The issue I am seeing is that there is music I have access to that I do not own, which seems to be very stange. like it is capturing music from someone else's playlist...

Their site FAQ says DRM-protected songs cannot be streamed to iPhone. For those who purchase alot from iTMS this new app doesn't do much good.

Terrific app. It took the desktop client forever to read my iTunes database but once it did it worked.

I like the fact that they add the album cover art themselves. There are a few CD's that I loaded into the iTunes library which Apple doesn't sell and won't provide the artwork for but Simplify will.

Now on to more testing to see how usable this is in the real world. But in concept and an early look at execution this is the type of mobile app service that you'll want on your iPhone - especially if you are forced to leave some content at home.

I notice that even docked when I am streaming the 16k songs I have it burns the battery to death. So it seems to be burning the battery up even though it is charging at the same time. I wonder if they can fix that? Other than that...I am voting best app so far (at least for me)

Who turns their computers off these days? I've kept mine up 24/7 since 94?

I can't wait to test this out, though streaming music over EDGE is a little limiting. First the audio quality is going to suffer and second, if you dock your iPhone in a speaker dock you can't stream the music without feedback. Of course if you're on WiFi both of these limitations disappear.

Looks like a great idea. I have around 19,000 tracks, which may be too much for it to handle. I haven't been able to get it to work. The good news: the developer was responsive by email. But it still doesn't work.

I doubt it makes sense to have your PC at home running all day just to stream music to your mobile device... I usually switch my PC off if I don't use it.
