y obviuos design of a 30 year old who never had to hit and extension number for stores, doctors, pharmacies, etc. A real Iphone glitch that is ridiculous.

Again, blackberry wins. The dialing options are simply much better thn Apple has been able to give us in the lady three years. Extentions, waits, pauses, full control over dialing. And it works on Verizons network. Sigh.

I want the extra digits to “play” only when I tell them to, after a “wait.” The “+” sign seems to be the wait, but what makes the extra digits “play” after that?

Naseer, you’re probably either picking the default contact number to call which doesn’t have an extension I guess, or you need to Hide Sources, then simply hit Keypd if all you want to do is dial when you’re within a call..

I added pause to my contact so I could have extensions but it seems to be invisible as when the main number is dialed the iPhone screen displays either key pad or the other screen carrying options of mute etc. Pls advise how to make extension dialing option visible.
