UPDATE: And the winner is… Louie Sulcer of Woodstock, Georgia who downloaded song number 10 billion — “Guess Things Happen That Way” by Johnny Cash! Congrats! iTunes (and Internet Services) VP Eddie Cue had this to say:

I have too many songs from iTunes I can’t use anywhere but on my phone and iPod. Having 2 accounts and music you can’t put on other players is dumb.
