ITunes Store/App Store Outage?
We're getting lots of reports from lots of different places that Apple's iTunes Store and App Store are down or otherwise erroring out for users.
Hopefully Apple is working on a fix and things will be back up soon. In the meantime let us know if you're getting errors, what kind, and in what country...

The mobile app store and iTunes store are working but are tediously slow
iTunes App Store on both my phone and iTunes aren't working. I can look up apps, but can't look at them or buy them. (US)
At first it seems like its working but when you go to view app details it says it can't connect.
Cannot connect to AppStore Categories on iPhone but iPod Touch is OK (UK)
I have also got a message from iTunes saying: "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."

Oh and this is in Canada on Rogers. On WIFI it says right away but on 3G its running REALLY slow but eventually says the same thing. Can't connect to Itunes Store
Yea not working I can see apps but when I go to buy it says cannot connect to store USA

I am experiencing problems trying to download application on my ipod touch and on itunes. On my ipod, it states, "Cannot connect to itunes store." Itunes states, "store is temporarily unavailable." How long is this going to be down? Please help.

Can't access App Store on iTunes store from PC or from iPod touch - tried downloading music and it downloaded but failed to process so iStore thinks it has downloaded but I have nothing on my PC despite paying for it

Strange, I just downloaded 2 apps with a minimal delay.
I called, having issues with logging in to itunes store, and eventually was told by support that they had received an email stating the servers were down, and ETA is unknown. Was told possibly doing a firmware upgrade to increase download speed.
This was just about 11:30 CST.
I can view ok on PC and Iphone. I can't purchase anything or update apps. I've tried with two different IDs

Im from Mexico, my itunes store loads the hoepage fine but then if i click a song or want to see apps itunes will tell me that its unavailable and that i have to try again later, this also happens when i try to check my account

Same here in Austin, also app store on my iphone is reporting I have multiple updates, but all my apps are up to date.
iTunes store is up but not fully. Get lots of time outs and messages saying to come back later or an error occurred.

Was watching a tv episode and downloading the rest of the season when I tines asked me to log in. When I did it kept asking me to log in repeatadly. Once I restarted iTunes it worked fine downloads and viewing

The iTunes Store and App Store is in Germany also offline. From the Mac you can't load any Pages only the Startup is there. Here the Store is now for 4:30h offline! On the iPhone you can load all Pages in the iTunes Store but the App Store is very slowly. Reported from Germany
Here in the UK both stores are down, hope Apple fixes this crap soon.
In Germany the App Store is still down but all others are there again.
I thought it was just me it started about 3pm here in the uk can see apps bit can't retreive description pages

iTunes Anartica is working fine.
In the UK - I can log on to iStore online. On my iTouch Safari is working OK, but when I try to open the App Store or iTunes I get "Cannot connect to iTunes Store". Been like this all day.
I didn't bother trying because I read the article saying it's down.

I have not been able to connect also since Saturday night it seems. Been trying everything to resolve on my end thinking it was an update I installed or my service but itunes will not connect. My ipod touch will though but it appears to be horribly slow.

I get this error when i try to connect to apps store from my windows 7 laptop.
"we could not complete your itunes store request. An unknown error occurred (-50) There was an error in the itunes store. please try again later."
Yet I can connect to apps store and use it perfectly from my iphone 3gs

the app store - categories is not showing any categories of apps :/ idk if the prob is my ipod or the app store. :/
Same here in iPhone it can't open apps in categories but it still can open featured apps and top 25 apps

This happened while I was performing an update do some of my apps, and now they're fozen with the 'waiting' symbol over them! I can't use them at all! I hope this problem gets fixed soon! It's been like this for a couple of days now...
From the UK using Hong Kong setting, blank page on Categories section, friends stuck in same problem on I touch too.

Ever since I upgraded my iTunes I have had problems opening my Storm 8 games, AOL radio app, Pandora app and Palringo. What is causing this problem?? Will it be resolved. My husband has an iPhone as well and he hasn't upgraded iTunes si he can still access those apps

Same here compleatly unable to connect to the iTunes store from PC. 3G really slow. WiFi seems fine and able to download apps. Which is strange. Itunes on PC complaining that the apps and movies on my Iphone are not authorised so no more synching on the PC until this is sorted have to charge using the mains or car for a while it seems.

I'm having alot of probs with the iTunes store... After clicking install on a app I get a "connot connect to itune store" error... I restored my iPod losing all my stuff, I also reinstalled iTunes and resetting my modem and router... It seems to only be giving me this MSG when I try to download a 17 and up app... In California. iTunes store been erroring out for me as well. Both iPhone and ipad get errors about encryption and to check your time/date settings (which clearly are correct).... Started last night, was able to make purchase after hammering the store over and over. But this morning it seem impossible. APRIL 19, 2010. 8:00am. California time!!! USA
USA, California... iTunes purchase server is down. I have iTunes store credit, when attempting any purchase or app upgrade I get the following error:

Not working in Chicago 5/9 either, what I find funny is Apple can go days and almost no press, Microsoft has an issue for a few mins and the web goes crazy.
I'm used to Apple products not working right, my Apple TV is a pile of junk, it took 3 MBP's before I got a good one that didn't lock up.

"One moment - connecting to iTunes store" Wonder how long a "moment" is - I'm up to 72 hours and still counting. What surprises me is that if we cannot access the store, then Apple is foregoing income - hardly a sound business stratergy.
for crying out loud the moment that i needed to download the skyscape for my BNF itounes started making its problems and i cant download any app we hope that apple fix this problem as soon as possible
Grrrr can't download the latest v of iTunes, iTunes tells me there's a newer v of iPhone but won't let me download it b/c my iTunes v isn't the latest. I'm screwed coming & going!!!
