Whether or not you think Jailbreaking is illegal or not, its not going to change the fact that people are going to do it. Cracked apps the same way.

If you have EVER downloaded a song illegally (Limewire, frostwire, torrents, etc.), please hush yourself over the matter. Your only embarrassing yourself by making it alright in your mind to 'steal' music while bashing those who 'steal' and 'try-before-you-buy' the apps. I, personally am a 'Try-before-you-buy' person. If I like the app, I support the developer that made it buy paying him $x.xx amount of money. Sometimes even DONATE.

Did they fix the "now playing"/"selected item" issue of not locking anymore? I hate that that feature has been changed in 9.2.

I don't know if its just me but since i updated the iTunes and i open any of the jailbreak software on my computer, iTunes automatically shuts down. lol has any one else experience this at all? I was moving folders around and cleaning up my desktop and i accidentally click on it and itunes shut down right away, i tried 3 more times and it kept shutting down lol.

Everyone one sitting here bashing @Mitchell really need to grow up. As already stated over and over again everyone has there reason for jailbreaking, I personally don't like the hold that Apple has over the Iphone when the device can do so much more and the refuse to allow it, therefore i jailbreak to unleash all these capabilities, but some also do it for the cracked apps, but thats there choice not mine or yours, the fact that people are wasting there time here complaining about his comment when this in fact is suppose to be about the new iTunes update makes me laugh. Also some food for thought, Whats the difference in buying the apps or getting the cracked apps when some people have been purchasing the apps and then passing out the user name and password to some friends with iPhones and iPod Touches and having the re download all the apps that were originally purchased but now 4 to 5 people are benefiting from that one purchase?

@ Luis most of the apps in cydia are not in the app store so how are they stealing money from the ap store again. Plus over the next 2 years AT&T will get over $4000.00 from me. So like I said b4, the phone is mine.

@Jeff There is a workaround to get the latest version of orblive working with iOS4. It involved editing an .XML on your PC. You can search the orblive forums for more info.

Cry me a river. Most of you are hypocrite just to be cool with the website forum. Jailbreakng for the wrong reason? Your "right" reason is wrong and it's against the term of use/services in wich you agreed to accept. Not following that agreement can can cause the other party to take legal actions against u. So u say uv never used limewire? Sure... Shame on cracked apps? Stop and think, developers of cydia store are stealing the 50%(or so) income that correspond to iPhones apps sales for each download. They steal too. Cracked aps are as unrespectfull as jailbreaking. Even that some do both, because some won't buy something u can't return/replace or use longer than a week. Why, because u CAN. Ohh and poor issues...

@ Rhit - FYI, you can also say JFGI which is much more satisfying. @most of the others- w/ iOS4, I have very little reason to jailbreak but when it is available, I might for two reasons. One, themes, there is an awesome Star Trek LCARS theme(if you have to ask...). Two, scr$$ the giant At-At who is very greedy and doesn't improve it's network w/all the $. Done so by tethering. Save me $130 when I get an iPad, though I'll probably wait for G2. Just my $.02

I think we need a rundown on what jailbreakimg is and why it's not illegal. What is illegal is stealing apps no matter what your intentions are. Jailbreaking is not illegal. Stealing apps are. Why is that so hard to understand?!
