Apple opens @AppStore Twitter account
Apple has opened the twitter account @AppStore and posted the following first tweet:
Welcome to App Store on Twitter! Follow us to discover new apps, get exclusive offers, and share with friends. #appstore
It'll be interesting to see what Apple does with this account, particularly with exclusive offers. The iTunes Twitter accounts are currently used to announce new releases and sales, so we will likely see something similar. There has been a second tweet from @AppStore promoting Nike Training Club.

I'll follow if after a week or two this turns out to be anything other than a Twitter version of a US App Store front page. I expect all content to be US centric and for no offers, no tips, just one way adverts with no interaction. This is NOT what Twitter is for.
Time to start getting bombarded with questions about all those Android app stores that Steve says exist everywhere!
When will I make a Twitter, that is the real question.
