BBM version 2.2 coming in a few days, will bring new emoticons and more

Use BBM regularly? Then you're going to be pretty stoked to know that version 2.2 of BBM is coming soon to Android and iOS. This release will focus on streamlining the BBM experience. Bank of America app receives interface overhaul in latest update

Bank of America has had a pretty tired-looking (albeit functional) app for some time, and with today's update it's getting an interface refresh. No portion of the UI was left untouched, with a new main account screen that's simpler and more finger-friendly. You can quickly toggle between Bill Pay, Transfers and Deposit Checks along the top, or tap into your different accounts listed.

Omnifocus 2 for Mac review

Omnifocus, one of the more complex and serious get things done services available for both iOS and Mac, has just been updated to version 2.0 on the Mac. With it comes a fresh new design, Forecast view, a handy quick open feature, and lots more. Back when I reviewed Omnifocus 2 for iPhone, I found it to be a huge step in the right direction as far as usability was concerned. So is the new Mac version of Omnifocus a step in the right direction as well?

The Guardian gets a major update with new UI and notifications

The Guardian has introduced a big update to their mobile app today which revamps the user interface, adds in some extra notifications, and a few more bells and whistles. Of course there's a full commenting system for articles, but users can also submit their own photos from around the world to share for contests and other themed stories. If you don't have time to read something, stories can be cached for offline reading later. You can shuffle around the sections so the most important and interesting stuff shows up first on your home page.
