Apple being sued because someone forgot to turn off iMessage when they switched to Android

A scorned ex-iPhone user is suing Apple over lost text messages that she is not able to receive after switching from an iOS device to a smartphone on another platform. Apple's iMessage service doesn't de-activate the iMessage service when a user switches to a non-Apple phone. In this case, messages do not get delivered and the service thinks that the message should be routed as an iMessage rather than a traditional SMS or MMS, meaning that switchers away from Apple would not receive messages from their iOS counterparts.

Apple releases iTunes Connect 3, adds iOS 7 design, music, movie, TV management

Apple has updated their app for iTunes Connect, giving it a new design in line with that of iOS 7, as well as a new icon. The bigger news is that Apple has also added music, movie, and TV show management to the existing app and iBooks categories, making iTunes Connect a one-stop-shop for developers and media producers on the go.

We've updated our Android app with some important fixes

A quick heads up for those of you rocking the official iMore App on Android — we've pushed out an update today with a number of important fixes. You're going to want to make sure you download this one, particularly if you've seen increased data usage or are using the widget on your home screen. The fixes apply to all the editorial (ie not the Tapatalk-esque one) apps for all our Mobile Nations sites, including Connectedly, CrackBerry, Android Central and WPCentral.

Foursquare's new Swarm app now available for download

A few weeks back, Foursquare announced Swarm — a new app that aims to help track down your friends when you're out and about. Using Swarm, you'll be able to see which of your friends are nearby, even if they haven't checked in somewhere.
