Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga is now available for iPhone and iPad

Of all the Lego games to have launched for iPhone and iPad in recent times, Lego Star Wars is possibly the one many of us have waited on the most. Now it's time to grab your Lightsabers as Warner Bros. has made The Complete Saga with all six episodes available in the App Store now.

The game is going through a staggered roll out, and when the clock hits midnight where you are you should see it available to download. It's been a long time coming – we've had the Mac version you see the trailer for here for a number of years now – but for Lego and Star Wars fans it's worth the wait.

Lego Star Wars is available as a free download, and for that you get the complete Episode 1: The Phantom Menace to play through. Episodes II - VI are then available by way of in-app purchase, though there doesn't seem to be an easy indication up front as to how much you'll need to pay.

Since it's after midnight here in the UK, you'll find the British download link below. Everyone in North America keep one eye on the clock, and may the force be with you!

First episode if free... The other 5 are IAPs.
Evidently, no word on the cost per additional episode. I'm guessing... $3-5 each?

Looks like $4.99 each for prequel or original trilogies, three other packs that total about $6. Can buy the complete bundle for $14.99. Not bad. Tempted to get it now in case it is a lower intro price.

I'm impressed again with how much this looks just like the console versions and it's gonna be in your pocket where ever you go.

Mesa can't wait to play this game. Mesa thinks it's gonna be great with all the different styles of gameplay, there's lightsaber fights, racing, a bit of platforming (?).

Still not available for me. (US East coast) My kids play the other Lego games quite a bit on their iPods.

*update* - I hit the link in the article from my iPad and it allowed me to download, but it would not show in the search of the App Store. Stealth launch detected.

I have one of the versions for something, but it has been long enough that I can't recall if it was the Wii or PC.

This was my childhood game! Know I can play it all over again on my iPad! :D

Currently downloading, can't wait to play! Any word on if it is 64bit? I'd assume it would be but there's no way to tell, unless the developer writes it in the description. It's been good if Apple had put it at the bottom, like they did with 'optimised for iPhone 5'.

I was really hoping the graphics going to be crisper and cleaner on the retina display, but it turns out they really aren't.
The HD does not appear to be strong with this one.

My son loves this and wants to buy the in app 6.99 for the complete game using his Christmas money....but how do you do that, anyone help me???
