How to manually store your credit card information to iCloud Keychain with iOS 7

iCloud Keychain lets you easily store not only your passwords, but your credit card information as well. Any time you pay with a card in Safari, iCloud Keychain will offer to save it for you. However, you can also add cards to iCloud Keychain any time you wish. That way, you can do it when it's most convenient, and avoid having to run for your wallet when it's not. If an ounce of prevention now saving you a pound of effort later sounds good, here's how to do it!

How to manually add your credit card information to iCloud Keychain on iPhone and iPad

I like Keychain a lot for autofill in iOS. Keychain on the Mac doesn't yet offer to save usernames and passwords on all web pages yet. For now, I will keep using Lastpass on the Mac and a combo of Keychain and Lastpass on the iPhone/ipad. Hopefully I can switch completely over to Keychain over the next year.

I don't like that you have little protection. Either you use the 4 digit lock code, but even so, if someone borrows your phone that info is freely accessible.

They really should have not allowed the credit card info the be visible once it is put in, and at least have to enter a password/pin to use it in the browser. There is no security from someone buying stuff in a minute or 2 flat on your card.

Definitely will not be using it for credit card info for sure. Site passwords maybe.

That's not true. Auto fill comes up but the card number is mostly blocked out. Additionally one needs to enter the security code in order to fulfill the transaction. Have you actually used it?
