FireCore has released another update to its hugely popular software for jailbroken second generation Apple TV's (2010, 720p version). The new 1.6 release includes a raft of new features and improvements, the most interesting being the ability to download subtitles for movies in your collection on the fly.
If you're a jailbroken AppleTV user, aTV Flash is definitely something you'll want to check out. It adds a great deal of functionality to your AppleTV and it just got a huge update. Outside of a bunch of bug fixes, the update adds new custom view options, web page auto-load, playback improvements, and much more.
FireCore has released an update to its aTV Flash (black) software that runs on jailbroken second generation Apple TV’s. The update includes a host of additional features including a brand new lightweight media player that has been specifically written for iOS devices.
The new media player will enable your second generation Apple TV to play a much wider array of media types without losing the simple Apple TV interface. Performance of HD content has also been greatly improved.
If you're already running a version of aTV Flash (black) the new Beta6 version can be installed through the Maintenance --> Manage Extras menu on your Apple TV.

aTV Flash for Apple TV (2010) is here, bringing with it the ability to view HTML5 content through a custom browser, view the weather, RSS feeds, and adds last.fm access. aTV Flash also supports a pethora of video formats as well, including - .m4v, .mp4, .mov for video, HE-AAC, AAC, MP3, MP3 VBR, Audible, Apple Lossless, AIFF, and WAV for audio.
