iOS 6 banners start going up at Moscone Center in preparation for WWDC

We're about as ready as we'll ever be for WWDC next week, and though the announcement of iOS 6 was actually little more than a safe bet so far, banners at the Moscone Center confirm that Apple will be announcing their next-generation mobile operating system next week. It's being labeled as "the world's most advanced mobile operating system" and comes along with a new fingerprint-styled icon.

Apple rumored to release their own app-tracking utility for iOS developers

WWDC is right around the corner, and though we're expecting lots of iOS 6 news and maybe some Apple TV stuff, there's apparently going to be yet another goodie for developers at the show: a means by which devs can see how their customers are using apps all Big Brother style.

T-Mobile makes their iPhone-friendly 3G network just big enough... to fit WWDC inside!

Clever girl. They're expanding their iPhone-friendly 3G HSPA+ network (or 4G, as they like to call it) to cover Moscone Center West, just precisely the location of Apple's 2012 World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) next week.

WWDC 2012: Where great ideas go on to do great things

Apple has started preparing San Francisco's Moscone Center West for their 2012 World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC) and in so doing have revealed the motto for this year's event: here great ideas go on to do great things.

The banners themselves are the usual collage for popular and laudable app icons, both outside and inside.

The Keynote kicks off at 9am PDT on Monday, June 11th, with the expected introduction of iOS 6, updates to iCloud, more on OS X Mountain Lion and perhaps new Macs. We've heard there won't be any new iOS devices this summer, however, so don't go getting your iPhone 5 or iPad mini hopes up just yet.

iOS 6 rumored to debut Facebook integration

Apple may be setting its status to "in a relationship with" Facebook, if new rumors pan out. Apparently iOS 6 will feature Facebook integration similar to what we've seen with Twitter in iOS 5, like being one of the default Share To options, but there's also the possibility that Facebook account integration could enable even easier single sign-on for multiple apps.

Google hosting Maps event just before WWDC where it will probably sulk about the iOS break-up

Google has just announced that they're holding an announcement event for Maps directly before Apple's World Wide Developer Conference next week. The timing of June 6 isn't entirely a surprise since we're expecting the announcement of iOS 6 to include Apple's own Maps infrastructure in the place of Google's.
