Apple releases iAd Producer for iPhone, iPad developers
Apple has released and HTML 5 authoring tool called iAd producer aimed at developers and creative houses that wish to build interactive advertisements for Apple's iOS based iPhone and iPad platform.
Rumors have persisted that Apple would release some type of HTML 5 authoring tool for a while now, perhaps a replacement for iDVD as part of iLife or an extension to iWork's pages. While this tool doesn't address things like iTunes Extras or iTunes LP creation, it at least shows Apple is rolling out next generation web and standards-based production tools. Hopefully more will follow.
