Beats 1 to stream live performance by 'The 1975' on Feb. 25

Apple Music's Beats 1 is set to live stream an upcoming exclusive performance by British band The 1975. The performance, which kicks off at 9 a.m. PT/12 p.m. ET on February 25, was teased by Apple Music via Snapchat, and was later confirmed by The 1975 on Twitter:

It's not entirely clear if Apple will only provide an audio stream of the performance, or if video will be provided as well. However, the stage setup shown off via the Apple Music Snapchat account seems to indicate that we may see video footage of the performance at some point.
We previously saw Apple partner with Taylor Swift to release a tour film exclusively on Apple Music, and the company has experience live streaming its annual Apple Music festival as well. The upcoming performance by The 1975, which comes just one day before the band releases a new album, could signal an increased push for more exclusive live content.
