Google promised it, and now the update to Google+ that brings full resolution photo backups to the iPhone is live in the App Store. Full resolution videos are also supported, but only on iOS 7. The rest of the changelog:
- Updated design for the notification tray
- Share your location, see where your friends are, control who is displayed on the map
- Translate posts and comments inline
- Additional bug fixes and performance improvements
Google announced full resolution photo uploads for the iPhone and iPad at a special event in October. It's a feature that has been present in the Android Google+ client for some time, but we'll take late rather than never every time. Google is really beginning to push photos through Google+ and Snapseed of late providing a pretty compelling product.
