iBooks updated with support for users in Japan and better Asian language handling

Apple has just updated iBooks to version 3.1 which will now bring the iBookstore to Japan. Outside of Japanese users now being able to purchase books, more Asian language support has also been added.

In the U.S. and many other countries, iBooks has always had hundreds of thousands of books available for purchase but some countries are still left out and can't access very much content, if any at all. Starting today, Japanese iOS users will now have access to and be able to purchase hundreds of thousands of books including fiction, manga, novels, and more.

If you don't already have iBooks installed, you can get it for free via the link below.
