Apple TV looks set to get another new application sometime soon with NFL Now already being under development. The image and information provided by 9to5Mac shows the app as it currently stands, taken by an employee of the NFL.
With a host of content headed our way such as live events, game highlights, original and club specific content, the NFL Now app for Apple TV looks set to be a great companion to following all the action next season. Without a specific time frame NFL Now should be available in time for the 2014/15 season, and will hit with versions for other streaming video devices like Roku and Xbox as well as the iPhone and iPad.
So, if you've been hankering for some dedicated NFL action on your Apple TV, hanker just a little while longer. It doesn't look like it'll provide a way to watch live games, but who's excited for it nonetheless?
