Pinterest has just announced a new feature that will turn their iPhone app into a shopping destination. Buyable Pins will enable users to purchase items that they like, which they can do either with Apple Pay or a credit card. Pinterest won't store your card themselves, instead electing to work with trusted payment processors.
Items with blue prices next to them are purchasable, and you can even search specifically for things to buy. When viewing an item, like a piece of clothing, you can also get size and color options. After you enter your payment information, the app will take you right back to Pinning.
Buyable Pins are not yet available, but will rollout to the Pinterest app on iPhone and iPad in a few weeks.
