Scosche is going all in on USB-C with its latest lineup of car and wall chargers.
In a press release, the company has announced its new lineup of PowerVolt USB-C Power Delivery car and wall chargers. The new chargers, as the company mentions, will charge the iPhone 12 lineup up to four times faster than Apple's 5 watt charger that used to come in the box with the iPhone.
With many newer phones, including the iPhone® 12, able to charge at significantly faster speeds, you need a Power Delivery charger to take full advantage of those shorter charging times. As the iPhone 12 does not come with a charger in the box, you have the perfect opportunity to choose the fastest charging option. PowerVolt USB-C Car and Wall Chargers deliver all the ultra-fast, ultra-safe charging benefits of Power Delivery in conveniently compact, and aesthetically pleasing, form factors. Charging devices up to 4X faster** than a standard 5W charger, they support Fast Charge for Apple®, Samsung® and Google® devices. USB and UL certified, they contain smart circuitry that communicates with portable devices to achieve their safest and fastest charge rate.
There are multiple configurations in. the new lineup, ranging the now-standand 20 watt fast chargers to power delivery chargers that can charge a MacBook Air at home or even in the car. Some of the chargers also feature dual ports so you can charge multiple devices at the same time.
PowerVolt PD chargers are available in multiple vehicle and wall options to charge phones, tablets, laptops and more. Small in size, but big on power, the 20W wall charger is 1.2" x 1.18", and all PowerVolt wall chargers are designed so that you can fit two chargers on a dual outlet. The 60W USB-C PD wall charger can safely charge your laptop as well as your tablet and phone, making it a one size fits all solution. The wall chargers have folding prongs which makes them perfect for travel as well as home and office use.
The chargers come in both Black and White with prices ranging from $20 to $50. The company has noted that the wall chargers are only available in the United States and that a couple of models are not yet available but will be in the coming months. The CPDCA32 Dual-Portal 20W USB-C PD/12W USB-A Car Charger will be available starting May 24th and the 60W wall charger will be available starting June 1.
